Sturday Evening......April 26th

Whew.......I'm tired....Chis got up at 6:00 to go and feed the homeless with his brother and friend so he was out of here by 6:45. I got up early too so I could go to my fat burning sculpt step class at 8:30 then I had to rush out to Folsom to practice for my upcoming handcar races. On the way home from that I had to go to work to pick up my textbook for school since I had forgotten and I've got homework due on Monday. Then I was off to the post office to pick up the box of pictures that my mom sent me for the digital scrapbook I'm making for their 50th anniversary. I also went out to the hair salon where I have my cards and was going to just take them because I hadn't sold anything for a while but when I got there there was $40 in the envelope so I guess I will take more next weekend. We went out to dinner using my hard earned money.....Carl's Jr......just in case you were thinking it was something extravagent.....NOT!

Christopher spent the afternoon with his new friend Mario who lives next door. He swam in their pool for hours and they had a ball. I'm glad we finally have someone on this street that he can play with. They moved in a couple of months ago....he is 12. My wonderful husband cut down a couple more trees in the back yard in preparation for the palm trees I'm going to be getting to put back there instead. We almost took out the neighbor's fence and deck but we managed to stop the branch in the nick of time. Tomorrow I've got to work on my homework and go grocery shopping so that will take up a lot of my day.

I've been working on cards off and on all day. I'm trying to use up all my scraps and stuff that has been laying around for eons. I'm not really that impressed with any of them......they are just kind of average. I need to find a new technique to use or something to be excited about. Weird....it will only let me post 3 of them. I guess I'll have to do another post with the other 3.

This one was kind of cool because I used one of my corner punches to make the bottom of the card.
